COD DMZ Guide – Can you hire yourself from Advanced UAV using the 3-plate Stealth Vest?

DMZ Stealth Vest Advanced UAV

In the Call of Duty DMZ, the 3-Plate Stealth Vest is used to conceal players from UAV, but what about Advanced UAV?

COD DMZ Guide – Can you hire yourself from Advanced UAV using the 3-plate Stealth Vest?

The 3-Plate Stealth Vest will not protect the wearer from an Advanced UAV killstreak. This applies to both the Ghost Perk, which can be earned through random exfil streaks in the mode, and the Plate Carrier bonus, which can be earned through using this equipment. Regardless, Ghost will not be able to protect you from the UAV’s superior version.

There may be a large number of players flocking to the Stealth Vest so that they can avoid detection. In any case, UAV towers and basic radar are much more common than the advanced version. That is true quite often, and when it is, Ghost is at its best. The new 3-Plate Comms Vest, on the other hand, can completely negate that.

Anyone who is wearing a Comms Vest can turn any of their UAV killstreaks into Advanced UAVs. This passive rule also applies to the towers. That means anyone wearing the vest and using radar will be able to see any player, regardless of whether they have Ghost. Keep this in mind the next time you decide to wear a Stealth Vest or a Comms Vest in COD.

About DMZ

DMZ is an extraction game mode that was introduced with the release of Warzone 2.0. In DMZ, players fight AI-controlled and player-controlled opponents to exfiltrate loot from the playable area (also known as the Exclusion Zone). Faction missions can expand players’ inventories, giving them more guaranteed loadout weapon slots or the chance to unlock base weapons and cosmetic rewards for Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare II.
