Cheryl Cole Doesn’t Care About Being Fired From US ‘X Factor’

British singer Cheryl Cole has spoken on her quick exit from the US version of the ‘X Factor’ – she was fired from her judging role after just 4 days on the show, but says she isn’t that upset about it even though she believes she should be:

”I think people think it was [upsetting] but it wasn’t. I should probably care more than I do.”

Speaking on her near-death experience after she contracted Malaria after a luxurious holiday in Tanzania, Cheryl says that it took her a long time to come to terms with what happened to her because when it happened it was so immediate that she didn’t get a chance to think about what was going on:

”It takes a long time mentally to come to terms with it. As it’s happening, you’re just going through it. Looking back you think, ‘Wow, that was really near.’ ”

Cheryl believes that even though she is divorced from footballer Ashley Cole, her life is working out the right way around because she already knows who she is and is able to provide for her family in the future now that she has a great career too:

”I’d love a massive family. I’m from a big family. I’ve got 10 nieces and nephews.’ My mam is like, ‘You’ve done it the right way round. I didn’t even know myself when I had children. You’re at that nice age where you’re developing into a young woman and you can give your children the things they need.’ ”
