The identity of ‘The Masters Girl’ has been revealed after eagle-eyed fans spotted the brunette beauty during the final round of the golf major on Sunday.

Aaliyah Kikumoto of Texas Tech University was minding her own business as Jon Rahm closed in on the Green Jacket in Georgia, with Brooks Koepka standing in his way.

The 19-year-old will have been surprised to learn that it wasn’t just those celebrities who piqued people’s interest, as social media went to work shining a spotlight on her in the crowd.

“Somehow I [fell] in love with someone I only saw for 15 seconds,” Tiktok user double.bogey captioned an upload. The 14-second post has since received over 250,000 likes, indicating that many people agree with the praise.

If only we could all look this glamorous while watching sports. The adolescent student, who wore her hair back under an official ‘Masters’ cap, had no idea that viewers at home would be focusing in on her.

Kikumoto was on her way home from her weekend commitments as a member of Texas Tech’s Pom squad. She’s used to being in the spotlight, and it appears she’s fully into her new ‘Master Girl’ moniker, too, after responding to the new buzz on Instagram.

“Thank you Ho. 16,” the Colorado native wrote, referring to the Augusta National area that made her internet famous. She followed up with hashtags for ‘The Masters’ and ‘The Masters Girl,’ hoping to capitalize on the increased traffic generated by her new moniker.

“As soon as I saw her live, I knew someone was gonna make a Tiktok about,” wrote one social media user under the initial post. Others chimed in that they also spotted Kikumoto during the broadcast as another person dubbed her “the girl everyone noticed.”

Kikumoto’s social media feed is full of posts about her cheerleading commitments, complete with tassels, pom poms, and lots of smiles. The Red Raiders finished fourth in the Big 12 conference this season, but went on to defeat Ole Miss in the Texas Bowl in December.

For Kikumoto, the next school year is likely to be very different as she adjusts to life as a mini-celebrity. Rahm’s first Masters victory was memorable for many golf fans because the two final rounds were played on the same day, but the tournament will have a much different meaning for viral sensation Kikumoto.
