‘Send her a message! We’re ready for her.’ | Playboy offer to Margot Robbie came after her infamous naked sex scene

Hugh Hefner, the owner of Playboy magazine, was impressed by Margot Robbie’s ‘very, very pretty’ appearance in the film’s nude scenes and ‘pursued a relationship with her’ after seeing The Wolf of Wall Street.

Hugh Hefner contacted Margot Robbie and offered her a role in his Playboy

As a result of her seductive performance in The Wolf of Wall Street, Margot Robbie became an international star, and rumor has it that Hugh Hefner was also smitten.

The Playboy mogul said that Margot “should be in Playboy” after ogling at the scantily clad Aussie stunner on the big screen.

In 2013, Margot had her big break in Martin Scorsese’s biographical epic The Wolf of Wall Street.

Naomi Lapaglia, played by the blonde beauty, was the second wife of Leonardo DiCaprio‘s Jordan Belford, the controversial stockbroker.

In addition to her stellar performance, Margot’s role included several steamy sex sequences in which she stripped down to nothing.

The late founder of Playboy magazine saw a photo of her completely undressed and immediately wanted to feature her in his racy publication.

Hefner told US Weekly: “The girl that plays [Jordan Belfort’s] wife in [Wolf of Wall Street] is very, very pretty.

“She should be in Playboy. Send her a message! We’re ready for her. She would be great.”

But down-to-earth Margot declined and told radio station The Edge that she’d already “put [her] family through enough”.

Margot Robbie said that she “had a whole team oiling her assets.”

She addressed the semi-naked scenes in her film, saying: “That was not completely my assets.

“And I had eaten an apple pie the night before, so don’t come to me for diet advice.

“Just have a whole team lighting you and oiling you, and you will look fantastic.”

The actress admitted that she was self-conscious about having her naked body posted online.

Producer Scorsese assured her he could tone down the nudity if it would make her more at ease. But Margot said no because she didn’t want to dilute the film’s dark and disturbing tone.

“I think nudity for the sake of nudity is shameful.

“[But] the whole point of Naomi is that her body is her only form of currency in this world.

“So when Marty [Scorsese] was trying to help me out, and said in the scene where she seduces Jordan perhaps I could have a robe on, I said she wouldn’t. She has to be naked. She’s laying her cards on the table.”
