Tanya Manhenga’s mom has spoken out regarding whether or not her daughter’s family would like Shaq as the 2023 winter season of Love Island nears its midway point.

Manhenga, who has been following Tanya’s Love Island experience from the beginning, has told OK! if she approves of Shaq and, more crucially, if she thinks Tanya and Shaq will last when the show ends.

The future with them seemed possible, she said. “We are a fun, loving and really happy family and he’d fit right in!”

In addition, Polite expressed her satisfaction with Tanya’s recoupling choice by saying that Shaq is “100 percent” her daughter’s type in terms of appearance, while she still has doubts about her daughter’s opinion on Shaq’s character.

“I don’t think we’ve seen enough of him to judge his character just yet,” she explained. “He seems like a nice guy but I’d like to get to know him better.”

The first pair on the show to say those three little words “I love you” to each other was Tanya and Shaq.

Because of the rapid pace of events on Love Island compared to the rest of the world, Polite expressed concern about this.

“I think it might be too soon,” she said..

“In the real world, things wouldn’t usually go this fast, but given their environment and the fact that his head hasn’t turned – yet! – it would be really nice to see them fall for each other.”

She had “mixed feelings” about Tanya and Love Island, especially during the show’s more sexually explicit scenes.

Several of them, in fact, have been forced upon her: When asked what they did with their alone time at the Hideaway, Tanya and Shaq revealed they had sex.

Even more uncomfortable for Tanya must have been Shaq’s 10-second orgasmic performance.

Polite says she couldn’t watch the girls doing the Space Rauch challenge with the rockets, and that she had to look away from the TV when Tanya was in the Hideaway. …and the hugs before bed.”

She shared the significance of her family and friends’ encouragement to Tanya as well.

“Honestly, it’s amazing how many people are speaking so highly of her since she’s been on the show,” Polite said.

“The positive comments we’ve seen talking about her have been far beyond what we expected.

“It’s really reassuring to know how well-liked she is already.”
