Lindsay Lohan Bailed on ‘The Canyons’ Premiere, Director Rants!

Perhaps in a bid to distance herself from the awfulness that is her new movie (although she probably thinks it’s great), Lindsay Lohan seemingly bailed on an appearance at ‘The Canyons’ premiere which took place during Venice Film Festival. The director of the film,  Paul Schrader, seemed to have had enough of Lohan’s erratic behavior and ranted to the press at the festival about how hard she was to work with and how nice it is to finally no longer have to work with her. Harsh words! Paul probably put off anyone else thinking of working with Lohan by stating:

“Today I am free. In the past 16 months, I have been hostage to Lindsay Lohan. She is a great actress, she should be here, but her behavior is unspeakable. She is very talented but unpredictable. She was supposed to be here today. She said she would be, but she is not.”

Lindsay then took to her blog after hearing all of the news, and said that she never promised to make an appearance. She also said that she’s currently focusing on her health, which means hanging out with drugie ex-boyfriends and shopping at Chanel in NYC most likely. She said:

“I have to clear up these reports. I was never confirmed to attend. Of course, I would have enjoyed returning to that wonderful city and being a part of this amazing event, but my focus is on my health and well-being. Plain and simple, it is of the utmost importance.”

So, who do we believe?
