Thanks to a Genshin Impact leak, we now know more about the banner characters that will be introduced in update 4.0.
Banner characters for Genshin Impact 4.0 revealed in a recent leak
HutaoLover77, a trusted leaker, has revealed the identities of the two playable characters in Genshin Impact 4.0. The leaker claims that the popular sibling duo Lyney and Lynette will be included in the initial Fontaine update. Given that their relative rarities have been revealed through leaks, it makes sense that they would be placed on the same banner as suggested in the post.
Several leaks indicate that Lyney will be a Pyro character with a bow as his primary weapon. He will be a main DPS character in Genshin Impact, which led many fans to believe that he would have a kit similar to Yoimiya, another Pyro bow character who serves as the main damage dealer in most parties. At the moment, his overall damage numbers appear to be higher than Tighnari’s but lower than Ganyu’s. This should be taken with a grain of salt because HoYoverse may make significant changes to the characters’ kits before 4.0 is released.
Lynette is most likely an Anemo character who can summon an elemental spirit for 10 seconds and deal coordinated damage whenever the active character performs a Charged Attack. Many fans are surprised that neither of these characters uses the Hydro element, despite the fact that it is Fontaine’s representative element.
