Update Injury for New York Knicks – Miami Heat

The Knicks had no answers from the start on Saturday afternoon, as the Heat cruised to a 105-86 victory. The Knicks fell behind quickly and never recovered.

Jalen Brunson scored 20 points but shot only 7 of 20 from the field, throwing up 8 assists.

Julius Randle had 10 points on 4 of 15 shooting with 14 rebounds, Josh Hart had 15 points, and RJ Barrett had 14 points in this game.

Randle finished with a double-double, but he shot poorly from the floor in a game in which the Knicks struggled offensively.

Randle hasn’t been able to carry his great regular-season form into the playoffs, and he’s averaging just 15.2 points per game, much below his career-high 25.1 points per game.

Menwhile, the Miami Heat got out to an early lead and never looked back as they cruised to an easy 105-86 victory in game 3. The Heat now lead the best-of-seven series 2-1.

Jimmy Butler led the way with 28 points, while Max Strus chipped in with 19. Bam Adebayo had 17 points and 12 rebounds, and Kyle Lowry scored 14 points off the bench.

Butler (ankle) is labeled as questionable but is likely to play in Game 4 against New York on Monday, according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

Butler returned to action in Game 3 after missing Game 2 due to an ankle injury sustained in Game 1.

He’ll almost certainly suit up again on Monday, but Miami will very certainly wait until a few hours before the 7:30 p.m. ET tip-off to make an official decision on the All-Star’s availability.
