Valorant Agent 26: Codename SHERRY Leaks Spark Theories

Clove, the recently released non-binary controller with their unique post-death smokes, is still shaking up the Valorant meta. But the rumor mill is already churning, with leaks hinting at the next agent – codenamed Sherry.

Valorant Agent 26: Codename SHERRY Leaks Spark Theories

Reliable source ValorantLeaksEN claims the next agent’s codename is SHERRY. This information comes from datamined references to “characters” within the game’s code. Unfortunately, beyond the codename itself, details remain scarce. ValorantLeaksEN even hedges, stating SHERRY “may or may not be our next Agent.”

Decoding SHERRY

While the codename offers little concrete information, players are already forming theories. Some speculate SHERRY hints at a sophisticated character, similar to the debonair Chamber, based on the association with luxury wines. The high price tag of these Sherrys could suggest an upper-class background for the agent, or perhaps just a fondness for the nickname.

This wine connection also sparks another theory: a potential Spanish agent. Valorant boasts a diverse roster with characters from various regions. Spain, a country renowned for Sherry exports, remains unrepresented.

SHERRY: A Sentinel in the Making?

Looking at the current agent pool, the Sentinel class stands out with only five agents, compared to at least six in all other categories. This suggests a high likelihood of the next agent being a Sentinel.

If this holds true, SHERRY, or whatever the final codename may be, is likely to join Chamber in Episode 10. The recent releases of Clove and Iso, with their unique abilities, necessitate time for them to settle into the meta before another Sentinel disrupts the balance.

While the identity of Agent 26 remains shrouded in mystery, the SHERRY codename has sparked the Valorant community’s curiosity. We eagerly await further leaks to shed light on the next playable character to join the fray.
