Jennifer Garner has said that she isn’t keen on working alongside her actor husband Ben Affleck on screen. The power couple have yet to work together and she doesn’t believe it’s a great idea because she thinks people are already sick of seeing them together because the paparazzi follow them so much as it is. She thinks people aren’t interested in seeing real couples working together:
“Really, you don’t want to see a couple onscreen. People see paparazzi shots of us together all the time. There’s no mystery . . . People are sick of us.”
Jennifer and Ben currently have three kids – two daughters and a son – and she says that she absolutely adores being a mother and would be a mom if she had to pick only one thing to be. She says she has dreamed about becoming a mother her entire life and even had a babysitting company as a teenager:
“[As a kid,] I had a baby doll tucked under my arm everywhere I went,” Garner says. When she was a young teenager, “my friend and I ran a babysitting service, C&J Babysitting. I think we made $2 an hour. If you’d said to me, ‘You could be a mom or you could be anything else in the world,’ I would have been a mom.”
Speaking on Ben possibly giving a political career a go some day, Jennifer reveals that her husband doesn’t have any plans currently but she would support him if he decided to give it a go:
“Right now [Ben] feels like he can do more good for people politically from outside the system. Would I be surprised if one day he did go into politics? No. But not now. I’m along for the ride.”
