5 Celebs Who Have Very Simple Beauty Regimes

Forget plastic surgery, miracle creams and other supposed wonder treatments, these 5 stars have shunned those ridiculous beauty measures in favor of a good old fashioned beauty regime. From ditching complicated cleansers to simply dabbing on some blush before exiting the house, these stars have all opted for very natural, simple products and believe eating healthy and staying hydrated is also just as essential for their beauty look.  These 5 celebrities all have very easy, cheap tricks to staying radiant – from splashing water on your face to applying light sunscreen, these tips may be obvious ones but they look like they work for these gorgeous stars!

Carrie Underwood

Carrie wishes she followed her mother’s simple advice before, but is implementing it now: “If I could go back and talk to my 15-year-old self I’d be like, ‘Seriously, listen to your mom’. Drink more water, put more sunscreen on, moisturise. There are a lot of people like me who wish they did more. It doesn’t have to be complicated. I don’t have time for complicated. I don’t have space in my luggage for 20 things that do different things for my skin — I don’t know anyone who does.”

Thandie Newton

Thandie thinks the body mostly cares for itself so she does very little to keep her complexion glowing: “In the morning I never cleanse. I just splash my face with water and pat it dry. I honestly think that the human body is a clever thing and that the natural oils my skin produces are best for it. Then I apply a dab of rouge and I’m off. When I am a mum on the school run I don’t wear make-up at all. For me, less is more. All I really want is to accentuate my good points and have a really healthy glow.”

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Rosie believes it’s important to stay hydrated, eat well and workout regularly to stay looking your best: “Water, sleep, exercise, organic food and regular facials. I go to the gym, do a lot of cardio and keep strong, which is really important to me.”

Jessica Alba

Jessica believes the basics work best: “My mother always told me to wash my face every night, wear sunscreen during the day and drink plenty of water. It’s simple but I like to think that it works for me. I like sunscreen that’s not too heavy so I use my daughter’s California Baby. Before there was cream blush, my grandmother would apply lipstick on her lips, cheeks and eyes. I still do that today.”

Diane Kruger

Diane’s biggest secret is plenty of sleep: ”I try to get nine hours of sleep a night. It’s really that simple. Of course, it’s hard to do sometimes, especially when I am working, but I feel and look better when I sleep well. I also noticed a great improvement in my skin when I gave up smoking. There are no secret potions, though.”
