Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Guide – How to use

Stables are where you can register horses for 20 rupees each, trade Pony Points, or get a good night’s sleep in one of two kinds of beds. A regular bed costs 20 rupees, but a special bed costs 50 rupees and grants you an additional temporary heart for any upcoming intense encounters.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Guide – How to unlock

In Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you have to finish the quest “The Incomplete Stable” before you can use stables. To do so, speak with Karson near the horses in Lookout Landing. The quest is as simple as completing the stable by attaching a plank to the wooden roof with Ultrahand. After doing this, you’ll be able to use a mini stable in the area and other stables on the map.

If you want to tame a wild horse, they usually spawn near stables. To tame a horse, simply crouch and sneak behind one before successfully mounting it. Once you’ve mounted it, it’s yours to register at a stable and bond with.
