A closer look

Havoc Demon Hunter

It looks like Havoc is back, and long live Havoc. Even though Havoc isn’t the hardest spec in the game, it’s easy to learn and has a fun rotation. 10.0.7 is likely to shine a good light on Havoc, as it seems to shine at the start of the patch, making it likely the best Melee DPS in the patch.

Hunter

Ranged Hunters appear to be making a comeback in 10.0.7. Raszagath’s massive nerf to the Bow has resulted in massive buffs to the rest of BM and MM’s rotation. According to the Hunter community, those without the bow could see up to a 14% increase in DPS. Even those who use the bow will see a slight increase in overall DPS. The only concern is that there will be another bottleneck in talent builds, forcing players into a specific build-style.

Mage

Arcane is the most popular spec right now, though it’s unlikely that many people will max it out. Arcane is a difficult spec to master, but the payoff is well worth it. You just have to stick the landing.

Retribution Paladin

It’ll be a funny patch for Retribution Paladin. Perhaps 10.1 will include a V2 rework and everything will be saved. To be honest, it appears to be a spec that just needed some more testing and fine-tuning; we’re confident it’ll be fine in time.

Warlock

It’s likely that a level of harmony has been found for Warlocks in this patch. While they may not be the “S-Tier” spec that everyone desires, we may be looking at some parity between the three specs. Obviously, one will stand out in testing, and if 10.0 is any indication, Demo Warlock will take center stage.

This brings us to the end of this WoW Dragonflight 10.0.7 DPS tier list.
