On Friday, the Atlanta Hawks host game three of their best-of-seven playoff series against the Boston Celtics, hoping that there is no place like home.

Update Injury for Atlanta Hawks and Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics made it look simple in the first two games of this series, winning at home on Tuesday to take a 2-0 lead.

The Celtics were in complete command throughout, creating a sizable lead in the second half. To their credit, the Hawks did not give up and made it interesting in the fourth quarter, but the Celtics turned the switch back on and easily prevailed.

The Celtics appeared to be able to score whenever they wanted, shooting 56% from the field and 45% from three points.

The Celtics were led by Jayson Tatum, who had 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists.

Tatum led all Celtics players in scoring, three-pointers made, and rebounds in Game 2 on Tuesday, finishing with the lone double-double for Boston.

In two consecutive postseason outings, the big man has recorded at least 25 points and 10 rebounds.

Derrick White finished with 26 points and 7 rebounds. Meanwhile, Jaylen Brown scored 18 points despite an injured hand, and Marcus Smart added 14. Brown’s name isn’t on the injury report, therefore he’s fine.

Danilo Gallinari (knee) will miss Friday’s game against the Hawks, according to Jay King of The Athletic.

Galliari is yet to make his season debut after undergoing ACL surgery in the offseason. His next opportunity to play will be against Atlanta on Sunday, although he is unlikely to play in this series.

The Atlanta Hawks earned the 7th seed by defeating the Heat in the play-in tournament, which is fantastic, but it pitted them against the East’s greatest team, the second-seeded Celtics.

They had been outclassed in the first two games of the series, although showing enough fight on Tuesday to keep it interesting, but the Celtics held them at arms length and proved to be too much.

Trae Young had 24 points and 6 assists but shot only 9 of 22 from the field. De’Andre Hunter led the team with 18 points and 12 rebounds, while Bogdan Bogdanovich added 18 points.

Dejounte Murray had a big game, scoring 39 points on 7 three-pointers. In the second half, he kept the Hawks in the game. He also grabbed 6 rebounds and dished out 6 assists.

The good news is that they are not injured.
