SUMMARY

  • Jahan Dotson
  • Romeo Doubs
  • Juwan Johnson
  • Isaiah Hodgins and Richie James Jr.

1. Jahan Dotson, Washington Commanders (23% rostered)

Dotson has been a contested-catch monster all season, and the Commanders have been peppering him with targets in recent weeks. He’s had 24 opportunities in the last three games, hauling in 15 for 235 yards and three spikes. In case you missed it on Saturday, here’s the score:

To put it simply, Dotson is a rising star. Don’t leave him alone. Even if you can’t fit him into your lineup in Week 17, you should keep him away from your opponent.

2. Romeo Doubs, Green Bay Packers (17%)

Christian Watson suffered a hip injury in Miami on Sunday and was ruled out. In his absence, the Pack’s other (much less well-known) rookie was targeted six times. Doubs caught three passes for 36 yards, but the workload alone reestablished him as an important cog in Aaron Rodgers’ passing game.

We shouldn’t have to sell you on Doubs’ situation, and you may recall that the fantasy industrial complex gushed about his talent earlier in the season. If your fantasy squad recently lost Watson, he’s an obvious target.

3. Isaiah Hodgins and Richie James Jr., New York Giants (2% and 17%)

In Week 16, these two had nearly identical stat lines, combining for 23 targets, 16 receptions, 179 yards, and one touchdown. They led the Giants in everything that matters in fantasy football. It would take a certain level of deep league desperation to start either, but flex away if that’s your situation.

Hodgins has been targeted 31 times in the last five games, while James has been targeted 35 times. The Colts are up next after a short week.

4. Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints (31%)

Johnson is still the guy New Orleans has relied on near the goal line this season, with 10 red-zone targets in 14 games. His 36 receptions have resulted in seven touchdowns. This year’s Saints receiving corps has been decimated by injuries, leaving Johnson as one of the few reliable options.
