In this article, we’ll cover everything you need to know about the Warzone Urzikstan map, from its release date to the points of interest (POIs) that await you.

Warzone Urzikstan Map Release Date

The Urzikstan map is scheduled to make its grand entrance on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, coinciding with the arrival of MW3 Season 1. This announcement was recently confirmed by the Call of Duty team through their X account on November 21, sparking a wave of anticipation and speculation among the player community.

New Map, New Experience

Urzikstan boasts a Soviet-esque design with a range of movement-enabling features to enhance the gaming experience. Players can expect horizontal ziplines, accessible vehicles, and denser city structures that facilitate faster navigation throughout the map.

The new Drop Zone in Urzikstan comes with unique features. Players can take control of the train, explore an underground secret area, and engage in classic 1v1 Gulag matches without the presence of juggernauts.

Other notable changes include:

  • Easier Contract Location: Contracts are now easier to locate, and a new item called the Laptop has been introduced to assist players in finding these lucrative opportunities.
  • Faster Circle-Pacing: Urzikstan’s dense environment allows for more dynamic gas circles, ensuring a faster-paced and action-packed game.
  • Gulag Enhancements: The Gulag now features ascenders and Public Events. Instead of flag capture, a zipline will drop in the middle, providing an exit route for one player. Events like Cash Grab will reward Gulag survivors with extra money.
  • Plunder Mode in Urzikstan: Urzikstan is now part of the Plunder Mode, providing players with more opportunities for diverse and engaging gameplay. Additionally, Vondel and Ashika Island are available in Battle Royale and Resurgence Modes.

Urzikstan is not just a visual overhaul; it introduces 11 distinct Points of Interest to the Warzone landscape. Each location adds a unique flavor to the gameplay, combining nostalgia with new challenges. Here’s a list of the 11 POIs:
