The LSU gymnast who shot to fame thanks to her TikTok page now has 4 million Instagram followers and 7.4 million on TikTok, making her one of the most well-known people in college athletics.

The blonde beauty’s participation in SI Swimsuit’s May issue will undoubtedly boost the athlete’s already-thriving brand.

The 20-year-old wore a grey bra top and thong bottoms and a white one-piece, all of which made her appear very lovely.

In an interview with SI, Dunne responded to those who say her social media posts boasting about her body are to blame for her success away from the mat.

“People always comment stuff that they would never say to your face, so part of it is just having developed tough skin. Social media is hard,’ she told SI Swimsuit.

“I think it’s important to stand up for yourself. Maybe it’s the Jersey girl in me, but I think girls need to know it [isn’t] OK [for people to say that], especially [because I’m] posting things that any other college kid would post in.

“[Or I’m in] a leotard – which is the required uniform for being a gymnast. It’s ridiculous.”

Despite the criticism she has received, the New Jersey native claims she is unconcerned.

“There are always people who want to downplay your success and say it’s just because of how you look or it’s just luck.

“I don’t give that negativity too much attention because it doesn’t deserve it.”

Dunne’s immense popularity is on full display at a recent event, where enormous swaths of male supporters were shouting her name until police were summoned.

LSU gymnastics has since hired a permanent security to protect her, and the TikTok star has spoken out about the assault and the example she hopes to set for young women and girls by speaking out.

“Girls aren’t responsible for the bad behaviour of boys. A lot of gymnasts are taught to keep quiet, and that led to a lot of abuse in the sport,’ she said.

“I want to be part of the new generation that tells girls to use their voice. You can be comfortable in your own skin and be strong, sexy and smart.’

“As a female athlete, I hope I can bring attention to how amazing college sports are and how hard college athletics are,” she said.
