Lillard helped the Blazers beat the Hawks 129-125 on Monday. He finished the game with 42 points (10-21 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 17-17 FT), six assists, and two rebounds.

Lillard ended the month of January with a bang, getting his fifth 40-point game. This was helped by the fact that he made all of his free throws perfectly and made a lot of them.

In January, Lillard played in all 15 of Portland’s games and averaged 34.5 points, 7.6 assists, 3.9 rebounds, 3.9 three-pointers, 1 steal, and a 49.7% field goal and 90.66% free throw shooting percentage.

In a positive development, Damian Lillard (ankle) is now listed as probable to play against the Mavericks on Sunday.

The team’s starting point guard is healthy and available to take on his normal responsibilities. Lillard was listed as questionable before Thursday’s game against the Cavaliers, but he played in the game and scored 50 points in 40 minutes, so the questionable status apparently didn’t affect him.

Damian Lillard is probable to play in Wednesday’s game versus the Thunder due to a left wrist sprain.

Lillard suffered a minor wrist injury in Monday’s loss, but it is unlikely that he will miss any time. Since returning from a calf injury, the star guard has averaged 31.1 points, 7.0 assists, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.3 steals in eight games.
