The “Diamonds” singer performed a medley of hits at the Super Bowl 2023 halftime show on Sunday, 12 February, at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, prompting rumors that she is pregnant again.

Rihanna wore a red jumpsuit for the event, which she unzipped to reveal was actually a bodysuit of the same hue. Singer rubbed her stomach during the performance, adding fuel to the fire that she might be pregnant.

An official for the Grammy-winning singer has confirmed that she is expecting her second child with rapper A$AP Rocky after her explosive performance.

To my knowledge, neither A$AP nor Rihanna has made any sort of public statement in response to the reports. Nonetheless, photos of A$AP supporting his girlfriend at her Arizona show surfaced online.

Fans speculated that the baby was Rihanna’s “surprise guest” because she didn’t introduce any other performers during the halftime show.

“So when #rihanna told @nateburleson there was gonna be a surprise guest at the halftime show, I’m betting that the BABY is the surprise guest #JustSayin #SuperBowl,” a fan tweeted.

Podcast host Nate Burleson responded to the tweet with the word “Bingo.”

After Nate interviewed Rihanna for the first episode of his podcast earlier in the week, she mentioned that he would have a special guest at her show.

Many viewers thought her growing baby bump was her “surprise guest” because she didn’t introduce any other performers during her Super Bowl set.

The Grammy winner said she had second thoughts about performing at the Super Bowl at first, but that becoming a mother ultimately motivated her to take the stage during halftime.
