Modern Warfare 2: five main characters confirmed
- Alejandro Vagras : Alejandro Vagras is a brand new character set to take a key role in Modern Warfare 2 as a member of the Mexican Special Forces. Vargas appeared in a few missions shortly after the infamous airport mission in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009)
- Ghost : Lieutenant Simon “Ghost” Riley is known for his skull-patterned balaclava that appears in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone. He is British special forces, which makes him one of the most unprecedented characters in the game.
- Gaz : Gaz joins Price and Soap, returning from the original Modern Warfare timeline and is a member of the British Special Air Service.
- Captain John Price : Captain John Price, the leader of the unit in the Call of Duty series is a British Special Forces special sniper seen in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare Remastered, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
- Soap : Soap returns as well from 2019’s Modern Warfare and will join Price in the main campaign.
