The ‘Chaser,’ dubbed ‘The Beast’ by the show’s host Bradley Walsh, recently shared some impressive selfies with his online following, giving a glimpse into the hard work that has gone into slimming down his physique.

After deciding to adopt a healthier and more active lifestyle, the ITV favorite has lost a remarkable 10-stone.

Mark, 57, posed with his ‘Chaser’ co-star and friend, Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Wallace, in a photo that he posted to Instagram.

Behind-the-scenes photo shows Shaun pointing at “The Beast” while he and his co-star are dressed casually, in contrast to their usual sharp suited-and-booted “Chaser” look that they wear on the show.

Even though the picture’s caption was about a “fake account” created using Mark’s profile, it was the TV star’s incredible weight loss transformation that prompted many viewers to pause and marvel.

“There is a fake account out there #markthebeastlabett who unfortunately cannot even spell my surname correctly”, Mark had written.

The response from one fan, however, was “Looking very chiseled there, Beasty!”

The father of one, who has a three-year-old son with his ex-wife Katie, has been a regular quiz champion on the 5pm competition show since it started in June 2009, with 15 series’ now under his belt.

Mark, who in 2017 was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes after a nurse noticed how easily he had bruised his legs after a football game, has kept his fans regularly updated regarding his weight loss journey, taking to Instagram to show off his progress.

During an appearance on Loose Women in November of last year, he was also candid about his weight loss, telling the daytime show panelists: “I’ve gradually dropped x’s off my size from 5XLto 4XL it looks like when I go shopping I’ll be able to squeeze into XL pants.

“Small things but important things.”

He continued at the time: “I’m down to 21 stone now – I was 29 stone, 2lbs at my heaviest. My diabetes meds help because I eat so much less. I also drink a lot more fluids.”
