Fortnite Storage Chests

Curious about those LEGO chests dotting Fortnite? Fear not! This guide reveals their secrets: what they are, how to get them, and how to use them effectively. Get ready to organize your loot and build awesome!

What are Fortnite Storage Chests?

Similar to their counterparts in Fortnite Battle Royale, Storage Chests in LEGO Fortnite hold valuable loot for your adventures. But with a crucial difference: you can craft and customize these chests to store your own items. Whether you want to stock your Village or dot emergency supplies around the map, Storage Chests are your reliable companions.

Storage Chests come in various sizes and rarities, ranging from Small to Grand. Each chest has its own storage capacity and requires different materials to craft. You’ll unlock more chest types and materials as you level up your Village.

Chest Capacity Materials needed
Simple Chest Six slots Five Planks
Simple Trunk Six slots Five Planks
Ancient Chest Six slots Five Obsidian Slabs, two Copper Bars
Palatial Chest Six slots Three Obsidian Slabs, two Copper Bars
Grand Chest 24 slots Eight Frostpines, four Iron Bars
Large Chest 20 slots Six Obsidian Slabs, four Copper Bars
Medium Chest 16 slots Eight Knotroots, six Marble Slabs
Small Chest 10 slots Six Planks

How to Craft Them?

To build a Storage Chest, you’ll need to progress through quests offered by the Cuddle Team Leader and unlock the Furniture tab in Build mode. This unlocks recipes for chests, allowing you to craft them using different materials that become available as your Village levels up.

How to Use Storage Chests

Using Storage Chests is simple. Approach the chest, interact with it, and drag and drop your items or use the “Deposit Stack” button (E on PC). To split items, click the stack, choose the desired quantity, and confirm.

Important Notes:

  • When using the “Deposit Stack” button, items don’t stack automatically. This means two stacks of 15 vines will remain separate in the chest. To avoid wasting space, use the “Merge” button before storing items.
  • The “Merge” button only works on items in your inventory, not inside the chest.

Storage Chests are a valuable addition to the LEGO Fortnite experience. They allow you to store loot, resources, and emergency supplies. By understanding the different types of chests and how to use them effectively, you can improve your overall gameplay and survival in LEGO Fortnite.
