This is sad news for no one, unless your Kris Jenner of course. According to reports, her ‘Kris’ talk show is being cancelled. She was given a six week trail run to prove she had what it took to create an original show, and it seems as though she didn’t pull it off. Even though she even exploited her new granddaughter North West in order to boost ratings, those behind the show know that it was a once-off ratings draw and it likely wouldn’t reflect how things would be if the show was to go on. Now, it seems as though Fox are pulling the plug, although it hasn’t been made completely official yet. A source said:
“There is no chance the talk show is going to get a green light from FOX. The ratings were averaging an abysmal 0.8 and advertisers were less than enthusiastic about it.”
Kris tried her best with her North West surprise on the show’s finale, but it wasn’t enough:
“Kris did get a ratings bump for her last show when Kanye West revealed the first baby pic of daughter, North West, with Kim, but that was a one time shot in the arm and it wouldn’t be indicative of what the ratings trend would be.”
The insider reveals that people weren’t interested enough in Kris or the subjects she presented on the show:
“It’s a very crowded market and Kris didn’t do anything to set herself apart from the field. Believe it or not, most of America doesn’t want to hear about the Kardashian’s for an hour everyday.”
Kris was probably already thinking about how she could take over Oprah’s territory. Oh well.
