Katy Perry doesn’t mind showing off her true self – the one who isn’t dressed in crazy outfits, bright hair and surrounded by cupcakes. Katy reveals she is happy to show that underneath it all, she’s a pretty normal girl and likes to put her stage personality to the side from time-to-time to show her other side off:
“I am not afraid to show the real me, the de-glamorized version, because I am not always the Katy Perry who is a bit cartoon-like that everyone relates to. That’s me on stage. But I like to show the entire spectrum of my personality.”
Speaking on what she loves about clothes and fashion in general, Katy explains that she is usually drawn to one of a kind pieces that stand out for their unique details or handmade quality:
“I like small boutiques, handmade garments, ornamental details.”
Katy also reveals that all of her crazy outfit ideas come from her, although she has a stylist who helps her piece together her chosen dreamy outfit ideas and makes them become a reality:
“I say this even if I may sound egocentric: they are my ideas. But, obviously, I am helped by a stylist, [Johnny] Wujek.”
