Injury Report Lakers – Suns: Will Anthony Davis and Devin Booker running on the court?

The visiting Phoenix Suns taking on the host Los Angeles Lakers at the Crypto.com Arena.

Phoenix has swept both matchups with Los Angeles, and the Suns have won nine in a row overall. The Suns have won the last four meetings between these teams, all of them taking place in Phoenix.

Update Injury for Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Orlando Magic 111-105 on Sunday to end a two-game losing streak.

With a half-game deficit to Minnesota, Oklahoma City, and Utah, Los Angeles is currently eliminated from playoff contention. The Lakers’ home record is 19-17.

Over the course of Sunday’s 111-105 victory over the Magic, Anthony Davis played 34 minutes and contributed 15 points (6-15 FG, 3-6 FT), 11 rebounds, four blocks, two steals, and one assist.

Davis had a decent game defensively but scored his second lowest point total of the month despite shooting poorly from the field and the line.

According to Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com, Davis is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Suns due to a right foot stress injury.

Over his last 10 games, the star center has scored 26.6 points per game while also pulling down 13.2 boards, dishing out 2.7 assists, and blocking 2.4 shots in 35.3 minutes.

  • Update injury for LeBron James

According to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, Darvin Ham, head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, said on Sunday that he expects LeBron James (foot) to return “at some point” this season.

James has missed the past 11 games due to a tendon injury in his right foot. The injury occurred three weeks ago and will prevent him from playing on Wednesday against the Suns. While no specific return date has been given, this update does raise the prospect that the four-time MVP could make a comeback before the season is over.

For the Lakers, who are currently clinging to the Western Conference’s final Play-In spot, that would be a much-needed boost.

The Phoenix Suns (38-33, 37-33-1 ATS) lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday, 124-120.

Phoenix has now lost four of their last five games and is only half a game ahead of the Los Angeles Clippers for the fourth spot in the Western Conference.

To date, Phoenix is 15-21 away from home this season, with two straight losses.

Devin Booker led the team with 46 points (18-28 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 7-8 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal over 36 minutes.

Booker scored more than 40 points for the second time in the last six games, but it wasn’t enough to lift the Suns to victory.

Phoenix should continue to rely heavily on Booker until the return of Kevin Durant (ankle), who has missed all six of those games.

Booker is leading the team in scoring while Durant is out, averaging 33.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.3 threes, and 1.5 steals on 58.2 percent shooting from the field and 42.4 percent from deep.
