Hogwarts Legacy shiny beasts

You’ve probably encountered many Beasts while exploring the Hogwarts Legacy world, but did you know they have Shiny versions?

How to catch Shiny Beats in Hogwarts Legacy

Shiny beasts appear in packs of regular ones, and the alternate-colored critters are so rare that you could spend hours looking for one but never find it, just like in Pokemon. In contrast, if you are fortunate enough to encounter a shiny beast, it will have a star next to its name and, once captured, on its summary page in your inventory, in addition to the obvious color difference. Furthermore, they can be bred.

Before you start looking for shiny beasts, make sure you have everything you need to capitalize on a rare find. That means you’ll need the Room of Requirement as well as the Vivarium. Any beasts you tame and capture are sent here. This Vivarium will also display the beast’s unique color and star.

Also, there are some steps you need to take:

  • Attend your first Beast Class.
  • Interact with Poppy Sweeting and her Puffskein to obtain the Beast Petting Brush and Beast Feed.
  • Keep doing your tasks until you get the quest The Elf, The Nab-Sack, and The Loom. When you finish this quest, you’ll get the nab-sack, which will let you catch your future pets.

The most effective way to catch shiny beasts is to catch as many as possible. Simply select claw icons to find locations where you can catch beasts. They are natural areas with a variety of resources, including wild beasts.

Use your Nab-Sack to capture beasts. To make the task easier, use your Arresto spell to stop creatures and then catch them with the Nab-Sack.

You can capture all of the beasts in the area. If you leave and return using fast travel, they will respawn and you will be able to farm more of them. You can also sell any beasts that you don’t want to keep to Brood and Peck for a good price. It’s a very effective way to make money in the game.

Now that you know how to catch Shiny Beasts in Hogwarts Legacy, it’s time to “Gotta Catch Em All.”
