The latest injury update for the Milwaukee Bucks vs. Indiana Pacers
On Wednesday, the Eastern Conference’s top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks will travel to the play-in hopeful Indiana Pacers.
Without Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday, Milwaukee (54-21) won Monday night in Detroit, 126-117, to get back on track on the road.
Khris Middleton’s season-high 34 points led the Bucks, and he was joined by two double-doubles from Brook Lopez (24) and Bobby Portis (21). Jevon Carter contributed 22 points as well, all on three-pointers, as he went 6-for-8.
Antetokounmpo missed the game in Detroit because of pain in his right knee, and Holiday was absent for personal reasons.
While Holiday wasn’t listed on Tuesday’s injury report, Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer expressed doubt before Tuesday’s game against Detroit that Holiday would be available to play on Wednesday.
Antetokounmpo (knee) is expected to play against the Pacers on Wednesday.
The first time Antetokounmpo has missed a game since March 11 was on Monday against Detroit, when he went from being labeled as probable to out.
Without the two-time MVP and Jrue Holiday (personal), the Bucks easily won, but it looks like both studs will be back on Wednesday. Although the game doesn’t start until 7:00 p.m. ET, fantasy managers still need to check their players’ availability.

Indiana (33-43), which lost to the Dallas Mavericks 127-104 at home on Monday night, plays Milwaukee on Wednesday. They have lost their last three games. Without Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield, and Myles Turner, the Pacers were led by 26 points from rookie Bennedict Mathurin.
Indiana is led by Haliburton, who averages 20.7 points, 10.4 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. Myles Turner is the leader down low. He is second in scoring with 18 points and first in rebounds with 7.5 and blocks with 2.3 per game.
This will be the fourth and final time these two teams play each other, and the Pacers hope to split the series 2-2. The last time these two teams played, on March 16 in Milwaukee, Indiana beat them 139-123 to end Milwaukee’s 10-game winning streak.
The Pacers are 12th in the East, and they only have six games left. They’re four games behind Chicago for the 10th and final spot in the play-in round, and the Wizards are also in front of them.
Haliburton (ankle and elbow) will not play for Indiana on Wednesday when they play the Bucks.
Haliburton will miss his second straight game because he has a sprained right ankle and a sore left elbow. This means that the Pacers will be without a key player when they play the Bucks, who have the best record in the league. Because of this, Andrew Nembhard may get another start at point guard, and T.J. McConnell should get more time off the bench as well.
Chris Duarte (ankle) is out, and Turner’s (ankle) status is uncertain.
Hield is no longer on Indiana’s list of injured players due to a non-COVID illness.
