Ekin-Su from Love Island is worried about ‘bad luck’ after a yellow bean bag “follows her home”

Ekin-Su Cülcülolu, winner of Love Island, joked that she’s worried about “bad luck” and drama after the unlucky yellow bean bag from the ITV2 villa “followed” her and Davide Sanclimenti home.

The yellow bean bag caused concern among the contestants during the most recent series, as they suspected it was bringing them drama after they sat on it.

The Islanders could even be seen warning bombshell Nathalia Campos not to sit on the beanbag in one episode, but she ignored this warning, with her co-stars telling her she would now have “drama.”

Tasha Ghouri explained the theory in the Beach Hut: “That yellow bean bag, there is a very proven fact that it does bring drama every time someone sits on it… it happens.”

“So obviously if you want to go sit on it, I wish you well, but you’ve basically brought it on yourself because the drama happens. So… it’s obviously a proven fact.”

Ekin-Su, 28, has now taken to Instagram to post a video of a similar, if not identical, yellow bean bag.

Speaking over the video, she says: “Well would you look what followed us home. The yellow bean bag.”

“Hope it doesn’t bring us bad luck” added the actress, as she kicked the bean bag.

It comes as Ekin-Su prepares to compete on Dancing On Ice next year, alongside football legend John Fashanu and former EastEnders actress Pasty Palmer.

Ekin-Su spoke to OK! at the TV Choice Awards about what she hopes will be her second TV win, saying, “It’s very intense but I love every minute of it.”

“Am I competitive? Yes. Do I think anyone’s gonna win? No, because people can really surprise you.”

Davide added that: “She’s putting a lot of effort in…” He also said he was looking forward to watching his girlfriend compete in the hit ITV show, joking that he would be in “pole position”.

Ekin-Su and Davide, both 27, have revealed that they will spend their first Christmas as a couple together.

“We’re just going to have a family meal, friends, presents…” Ekin-Su told OK!, adding that they are hoping to move into their new London home, before the big day.
