DMZ Guide – How to get & use Sulfuric Acid

Sulfuric Acid dmz

If you’ve been exploring the DMZ and have come across Sulfuric Acid but aren’t sure what it is, our guide will clear things up in no time.

DMZ Guide – How to get Sulfuric Acid

Even though Sulfuric Acid is lying around in the Koschei Complex exclusion area, searching for it can be a hassle due to the presence of bots and the risk of chemical damage. To protect yourself from radiation, put on a gas mask before entering the radiation zone. Also, don’t forget to don your night vision goggles before venturing into the Chemical Treatment Plant.

DMZ Guide – What is the usage of Sulfuric Acid?

When you collect Sulfuric Acid, it will be added to your inventory. Later, when you’ve completed REDACTED’s Abandoned Operator mission and have a few Red Server Tape and a Lab Code Book left over, you can offer two vials of Sulfuric Acid to the Shopkeeper at the Secure Buy Station in exchange for the RGL-80 Launcher.

Prior to Season Three Reloaded, the RGL-80 could only be obtained by defeating Velikan, the boss of Building 21, and exfiltrating with the weapon. If you’re a regular DMZ player, you’re probably aware of Building 21’s high threat level and how difficult it is to escape with the contraband in time. Now that you have a recipe, you are no longer limited to using the Building 21 method to unlock the RGL-80.

And there you have it; a complete guide of the locations and usage of Sulfuric Acid in the COD DMZ.

About DMZ

DMZ is an extraction game mode that was introduced with the release of Warzone 2.0. In DMZ, players fight AI-controlled and player-controlled opponents to exfiltrate loot from the playable area (also known as the Exclusion Zone). Faction missions can expand players’ inventories, giving them more guaranteed loadout weapon slots or the chance to unlock base weapons and cosmetic rewards for Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare II
