Darius Garland is active for Wednesday’s match against the New York Knicks.

Darius Garland (leg) isn’t on the injury report for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference First Round against the Knicks on Saturday.

He missed the final two games of the regular season due to a bruised left leg, but he’ll be back in action to begin the playoffs.

In the Cavaliers’ victory over the Nets on Tuesday, Garland was one of four players to finish with 15 or more points and the team leader in assists. Ten games in a row, he has recorded at least 15 points and 5 assists.

Darius Garland finished Wednesday’s 118-109 loss to the 76ers with 15 points (6-17 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 2 rebounds, and 5 assists in 36 minutes.

Garland is still averaging 22.7 points and 7.1 assists in his last ten games, so this is just a small setback. He will have to step up his game in the last 10 games of the season if Cleveland wants to stay in the top four in the East and have a home playoff series.

On Tuesday night, the Cavaliers won 120-104 against the Hornets, their second victory over the team in as many days. Darius Garland chipped in 19 points for the Cavaliers.

Chris Fedor of the Cleveland Plain Dealer notes that Darius Garland’s status for Sunday’s game against the Hornets is in doubt due to a quadriceps injury.

Despite missing the loss to the Heat on Friday, Garland could return to action on Sunday.

If Garland is unable to play on Sunday, Caris LeVert could get another start. Since the All-Star break, Garland has started seven games and averaged 23.6 points and 7.6 assists per game.
