Are Brandon Ingram and Pascal Siakam JOINNING tonight? Injury Update for Pelicans - Raptors

The New Orleans Pelicans will be in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to try to complete a season sweep of the Toronto Raptors, another team fighting for a playoff position. All-Star teams are meeting for the first time since the break to play one other.

The latest injury update for New Orleans Pelicans and Toronto Raptors

On November 30, the Pelicans beat the Raptors 126-108 in front of their home fans.

After losing two of their last three games, including 120-102 on the road to the Los Angeles Lakers on February 15, the Pelicans will be looking to get back on track.

Pelicans head coach Willie Green noted his team “just didn’t play with a lot of force.” “When you don’t play physically, you don’t force deflections and mistakes on either end of the court. Players on both teams are making their shots. So now you’re going to keep running against the same defensive.

“We don’t play again for another week and a half. There will be some time spent adapting to this situation. After that, we’ll get back on track and keep going.

Without star forward Zion Williamson, who will be out for several more weeks with a hamstring strain, the Pelicans began the break in eighth place in the Western Conference.

The Pelicans will play 12 of their remaining games away from home.

The Pelicans traded Devonte’ Graham to the Spurs for Josh Richardson right before the deadline.

Brandon Ingram will be on the court for the Pelicans’ matchup against the Raptors tonight.

The Toronto Raptors will host the New Orleans Pelicans this Thursday, hoping to pick up where they left off before the All-Star break.

Raptors hope the break didn’t slow them down as they host the Pelicans.

The Raptors have won two straight and five of their previous six games, giving them plenty of confidence. On Thursday, they will finish their five-game homestand.

Halftime score in the Raptors’ 123-113 victory over the Orlando Magic on February 14.

Toronto acquired Jakob Poeltl from the San Antonio Spurs at the trade deadline. Poeltl started and finished with a triple-double in his third game with the squad (30 points, 9 rebounds, 6 blocks).

After getting some key players back from injury, the Raptors should be able to field their entire lineup against the Pelicans.

O.G. Anunoby (sprained wrist), who missed the nine games before the break, is anticipated to return to the lineup along with Gary Trent Jr. (calf strain), who has missed the last two games, and Thaddeus Young (knee strain), who left the game against the Lakers.

Nick Nurse, the Raptors’ head coach, claimed his team was in “great shape” and ready to compete.

It’s still unclear who will start for him against the Pelicans.

Before the break, the Raptors held onto the 10th and last play-in spot in the East. They have a two-game advantage over the Chicago Bulls and a four-and-a-half-game deficit to the New York Knicks ll.

Brandon Ingram will be on the court for the Pelicans’ matchup against the Raptors tonight.

Tonight, Pascal Siakam has a chance to participate in the game that’s being played.
