During her pregnancy, Maggie’s husband Peter Sarsgaard made her green smoothies she enjoyed: “I had morning sickness for a lot of this pregnancy, so I had to just eat and eat – mostly yogurt. Now, there are times I need to have a hamburger, and it really makes me feel good. My husband is directing this movie about running, based on the book Born To Run, and when he turned 39, he got really into running and super healthy. He makes these green thick smoothies. I have no idea what exactly is in them but I do like to drink them.”

Rosie loves juicing and making her own smoothies to stay healthy: ”I know when I go back to Devon and go supermarket shopping with my mum I’m not going to find anything gluten free, but there are things available. My approach is a lot of vegetables, smoothies and fish … I don’t believe in fads. I believe in eating clean and balanced. I do a lot of juicing, a lot of green smoothies. I put all my superfoods and supplements into my juice and I have that first thing. I drink two litres of water when I wake up and try to do four litres a day.”
