5 Stars Who Refuse to Comment on Their Sexuality

Refusing to give the media what it wants, or feeling that they shouldn’t need to speak on their personal lives in public, these 5 stars have all refused to put rumors regarding their sexuality to rest. Feeling that people simply don’t need to know about their sexual preferences or believing it can even be offensive to deny gay rumors, these celebrities don’t mind if people think they’re gay, lesbian or anything else, and think people can judge them any way they want. Believing there is simply no point or need to either come out officially or deny that they’re anything but straight, these 5 celebrities have taken an admirable stance against silly gossip and believe that people can judge them for whatever they believe themselves without the need for them to confirm or deny a thing.

George Clooney

Commenting on gay rumors, George won’t confirm or deny because he thinks it’s offensive: “I think it’s funny, but the last thing you’ll ever see me do is jump up and down, saying, ‘These are lies!’ That would be unfair and unkind to my good friends in the gay community. I’m not going to let anyone make it seem like being gay is a bad thing. My private life is private, and I’m very happy in it.Who does it hurt if someone thinks I’m gay? I’ll be long dead and there will still be people who say I was gay. I don’t give a s**t.”

Janelle Monae

Refusing to speak on lesbian rumors, Janelle hit back that she only dates androids: “The lesbian community has tried to claim me, but I only date androids. Nothing like an android, they don’t cheat on you.”

La Roux

Singer La Roux won’t discuss her own sexuality or put it in a box: “I don’t have a sexuality. I don’t feel like I’m female or male. I don’t belong to the gay or straight society, if there is such a thing. I feel like I’m capable of falling in love with other people. I’m not saying I’m bisexual, I’m just sexual!”

Michelle Rodriguez

Although there has been much speculation regarding her sexuality, Michelle doesn’t understand why people need to know: “What the majority of (people) want to know is what I’m doing with my vagina, and I think that that’s sick. What do you care who I’m dating? I can tell when somebody just wants to know about sex. And it makes me sick.”

Nicki Minaj

Concerning rumors that she’s bisexual, Nicki commented that people can think what they like: “Take what you want from it (the bisexual rumours). (In the press) I didn’t say (I don’t like women). I said I don’t have sex with women. I don’t have sex with men right now either. If (bisexual is) what they wanna call me, then fine.”
