5 Star Women Who Think Men Are Intimidated by Them

Being a strong woman in the spotlight must be very empowering – but there is one drawback according to these 5 stars – they believe men are often too intimidated to approach them, so they find it hard to get a date! Revealing that men regularly find their fame quite daunting or are just shy to chat up someone with a very successful career, these  celeb women comment that it actually isn’t easy to find a man who isn’t intimidated by them.

Amber Rose

Amber believes that when she meets men they often seem intimidated and it’s hard for her to find someone: “I’m trying. I waited a long time for my husband to come home and he didn’t. I swear on my child, no-one tries to get with me. When men meet me they’re very intimidated by me.”

Bar Refaeli

Bar thinks she needs a man with good self-esteem: “I only can be with someone who has a healthy self-esteem. If he chats me up he’s in the short list. Most men find me intimidating, I guess. I don’t consider myself to be the most beautiful woman in the world, that’s just not true.”

Chloe Sevigny

Chloe thinks the only solution is to date someone more famous than she is: “Men are intimidated by me. My friends say, ‘You have to find someone more famous and successful than you, or someone who’s so happy with their own life they can handle the attention you get.’”

Rihanna comments that men are overwhelmed by her level of fame and it creates complications: “It can definitely be intimidating to guys to date someone in this industry. And it’s really hard to find a guy who doesn’t care about that stuff.”

Taylor Swift

Taylor has noticed that men are shy to approach her because of her career: “At least I suppose it might [be intimidating]. It’s not like I would look at a guy and say, ‘Hey, are you intimidated by me?’ I think that would be highly uncool on my part! I tend not to be the one to start conversations with guys, anyway. I’m a little more old-fashioned than that. I assume that if someone is interested in me they will come up and talk to me – and if they want to call me up afterwards, then they will.”
