Peter Facinelli

Peter takes his kids out camping to spent time with them: “When you’re going through it (co-parenting) yourself, you have to take it day by day… I take the girls RV-ing (on recreational vehicle trips) all the time… There’s a lot of… singing by the campfire. It’s something about being in the woods. It slows everything down and you’re a part of nature and just spending time with your family. It’s pretty great. They bring out my sensitive side and I toughen them up a little bit… Co-parenting takes two great parents to put their differences aside and focus on the children and that’s what I’ve been doing.”

Pete says that although it was difficult to see the end of his relationship with Ashlee Simpson, he thinks they co-parent their son Bronx as best as they can: ”That was really hard. It was the first time that I decided to deal with my stuff in a real way and not numb myself. Our kid Bronx is the most important thing to us so we’re trying to co-parent the right way. It’s been really good.”
