The 16-game winning streak of the Milwaukee Bucks has ended.

On Sunday night, the Milwaukee Bucks will travel to take on the Washington Wizards hoping to avoid its first set of consecutive losses since the second week of January.

On Saturday night, the NBA’s best Bucks held an 18-point lead over the 76ers and appeared poised to extend their winning streak to an NBA-best 17.

However, Philadelphia scored 48 points in the fourth quarter and staged a comeback to beat Milwaukee 133-130.

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo – ready

Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 34 points and grabbed 13 boards. Grayson Allen added 20 points to the total, while Holiday and Brook Lopez both scored 26.

At home against the Wizards on January 3, Antetokounmpo scored a career-high 55 points as Milwaukee won 123-113. He did not play on either team in Washington’s 118-95 rout victory two days earlier.

Khris Middleton (knee) isn’t on the Bucks’ injury report, the 31-year-old forward will likely be held out of Sunday’s matchup with Washington as it is the second leg of a back-to-back.

Goran Dragic, a veteran guard, was signed by Milwaukee on Saturday, and he should be available to play on Sunday. In 15 seasons with six different franchises, Dragic has averaged 13.3 points and 4.7 assists per game.

The Wizards have lost 11 of the last 13 times they’ve played the Bucks.

The Wizards’ Saturday overtime loss to the Raptors (116-109) meant they split their homestand with Toronto. As of Thursday, the Wizards had beaten the Raptors 119-108.
