Will Anthony Davis, LeBron James and Kawhi Leonard play on Wednesday? Injury Reports Lakers – Clippers

The city foes wrap up their four-game regular-season series, and the LA Clippers look to sweep the LA Lakers for the third straight season.

Injury Update for Los Angeles Lakers vs. Los Angeles Clippers

Three of the last five games for the Los Angeles Clippers (41-38; 39-40 ATS) have ended in defeat. These losses came on the road against the Memphis Grizzlies (108-94) and the New Orleans Pelicans (122-114).

Despite Kawhi Leonard scoring 40 points for the Clippers last Saturday, they lost at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

Against the Pels, Kawhi shot 15-28 from the field and 6-for-6 from the charity stripe. In addition to his 24 points, Russell Westbrook dished out 10 assists, and Ivica Zubac added 15 points, 6 boards, and 1 block.

For the first time all season, Leonard played in the second game of a back-to-back set, and his performance suggests that he wasn’t fatigued.

Leonard has likely been an important cog for the Clippers after an injury-plagued start to the season.

Leonard is expected to play in all three of the Clippers’ games this week, as their half-game lead over the Pelicans in the race to avoid the Western Conference Play-In Tournament shrank to nothing after Saturday’s loss.

Meanwhile, LeBron James scored 37 points to help the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Utah Jazz 135-133 on Tuesday night.

Including the playoffs, James has now made the game-winning shot 40 times in his career with less than 30 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter or overtime.

“This has been us lately. We’ve been one of the top teams defensively,” James said. “We had to get stops and we did that.”

Anthony Davis scored 21 points and grabbed 14 boards. And 28 more came from Austin Reaves. Los Angeles won their seventh straight game thanks to scoring in the double digits from five different players.
