Rochelle Humes Selects Her Favourite Spring Style Pieces
Posted by admin on September 15th, 2017
‘The Saturdays’ singer Rochelle Humes recently launched her first collection in collaboration with Very.co.uk, and has opened up on what pieces she’ll personally be selecting for the upcoming Spring season. Rochelle says she likes to keep her style quite simple and looks for great basics. One of her favourite items is a classic nude coloured mac coat that can be teamed with almost any outfit. She also loves a striped skirt she designed because it has a flattering fit. She completes all of her casual looks with basic makeup:
”It has to be the mac. It’s a great nude colour. You can wear it over jeans with a shirt, or wear it as a dress. It will work really well in the spring, too, as its light. The stripy skirt is great on the waist and creates a lovely silhouette. It’s great with a shirt tucked in or with a pretty top. I love the way it kicks out. I’m really into tying my hair up at the moment. Then for my face, I’ll be doing a simple eye liner flick and a nude lip.”
When asked which of her creations would best suit a person hoping to cover “lumps and bumps”, Rochelle advised to give a pair floral trousers paired with a blouse a go, while she also pointed out several other items that are flattering: ”The floral trousers and the high-necked blouse, or the stripy coat done up. The coat is so cute and it will hide a tummy. The plum dress as it nips you in. It’s very flattering.”
