Rihanna shocked the entire universe when she showed up to the 2013 Grammy Awards with Chris Brown on her arm, so her amazing red dress was pretty much overlooked. The singer may have chosen a controversial date for the event, but her dress choice has to be universally lauded. It’s subtly sexy and so elegant. The gorgeous cross-over halterneck bodice is so delicate and perfectly positioned, while the endless layers of red chiffon and a stunning red train completes this light, gorgeous design. It’s so feminine and pretty, something which Rihanna doesn’t always opt for when it comes to the red carpet because she is often seems to gravitate towards edgier designs. This is flawless and a perfect choice, it kind of shows off some skin but not in an overt way.
This seems strangely grown up and a slight shock to the system – is this a step in the direction of settling down, possibly with Chris? A ring on her finger did start rumors that she may be engaged! Watch this space for a whole new Riri and a whole new round of controversy if that happens.
