Rihanna Covers ‘Vogue’ For The Second Time

Rihanna is on the cover of the November issue of Vogue, but it’s not the first time the singer has been featured on the front of the famous glossy. Shot by Annie Leibovitz, Rihanna wears a strapless red Valentino dress in the photo. She’s seated among hay at the Tejon Ranch in Lebec, California and shows off her new pixie haircut. Inside the pages of the magazine, the singer wears more beautiful designs by Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Dior Haute Couture, and more.

Rihanna was first featured on the cover of Vogue in April 2011 sporting a mermaid-inspired look. In the cover photo, which was also shot by Leibovitz, the singer wore a sheer floral Chanel gown and accented the look with her bright red hair.

The poses from each cover are similar and Rihanna wears red lipstick in both photos, but other than this, the covers are much different. The changes are fitting considering the singer believes she has changed as a person since the first cover photo was shot. Rihanna says she’s fearless and is now much more comfortable with who she is. She’s grown up and learned to not only embrace change, but to infuse it into her fashion sense and her music, which has been made obvious through her much-talked-about outfit choices and scandalous tracks.
