How does the Token Machine in Resident Evil 4 Remake work, and what is the best way to use it? Read on for more information.
Resident Evil 4 Remake Guide – How does the Token Machine work ?
When you complete each of the Shooting Gallery missions in the game, you will be rewarded based on how well you performed and how many points you obtained. These come in the form of Silver and Gold tokens, which can be exchanged for charms at the Token Machine. The better the tokens, the rarer the charm. The charms you receive are also randomized, so you’ll need some luck to get one that’s useful.
Each token combination has its own pool of droppable charms. No matter how many times you try to load the last save, they will stay in the same order. As a result, your best bet for good charms is to get as many spins as possible with three Gold tokens, then use whatever Silver tokens you have remaining. There are four possible charm reward combinations in total:
- One Gold Token, Two Silver Tokens
- Three Gold Tokens (Best Rewards)
- Three Silver Tokens (Worst Rewards)
- Two Gold Tokens, One Silver Token
With that in mind, you should always aim for the highest rank. This will require a lot of precision and timing, but it will yield the best results. Don’t be too disappointed if you can’t pull it off; getting any charms is a plus. You can have up to three attached to your attache case at any given time, and they can be swapped out via the typewriter at any time.
Now that you understand how the Token Machine works, it’s time to enter and gamble to your heart’s content!
