Quarterback for the Ravens Lamar Jackson tweeted about his sprained knee, saying, “I can’t give 100% of myself to my guys.”

As his status for Sunday’s Super Wild Card Weekend matchup against the Bengals remains in doubt, the Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson finally addressed the lingering concerns about his injured knee.

Lamar Jackson, quarterback for the Ravens, tweeted about his sprained knee and said, “I can’t give my guys 100% of myself.”

Thursday, Lamar Jackson took it upon himself to talk about his knee injury.

Jackson wrote on Twitter that the PCL injury he got against the Broncos in Week 13 is a “grade 2 sprain on the edge of” a grade 3 sprain. Jackson also said that he has swelling and instability around the knee.

Jackson hasn’t been to practice since he hurt himself. He still wants to come back, but his tweets aren’t very clear, so no one really knows if that will happen this postseason.

Jackson tweeted, “I’m still in a good mood, and I’m still getting treatment to get better.” “I wish more than anything that I could be out there with my guys, but I can’t give my guys and fans all of myself. I still think there is still a chance.”

Thursday, Jackson didn’t work out, but Tyler Huntley did.

Huntley was listed as limited for Thursday’s session because he is still recovering from injuries to his right shoulder and wrist. Huntley will start the game against Cincinnati if he is healthy.

If not, the Ravens might have to go back to Anthony Brown. Brown was put on the active roster and put in the starting position in Week 18 against the Bengals.

He completed 19 of 44 passes for 286 yards, most of which came after the Bengals had a 24-7 lead, and threw two interceptions.

Jackson will be able to leave his team in March. The Ravens gave linebacker Roquan Smith a huge five-year contract extension, which could make it easier for the team to use the franchise tag on Jackson if they need to.

Jackson and the Ravens stopped talking about a long-term contract in August and won’t talk about it again until the offseason.
