Hisuian Samurott caught during the event will have the Mightiest Mark and six perfect IVs. Trainers can only catch one Hisuian Samurott per save file. While another Hisuian Samurott cannot be caught, trainers can still battle it again to obtain rewards such as Water-type Tera Crystals.

Hisuian Samurott’s Moveset

Hisuian Samurott boasts the Water Tera Type in its 7-Star Tera Raid, making it susceptible only to Grass and Electric-type moves.

Hisuian Samurott’s arsenal includes Ceaseless Edge (Dark), Razor Shell (Water), Sacred Sword (Fighting), and X-Scissor (Bug). Keep an eye out for additional moves like Swords Dance (Normal), Bulldoze (Ground), and Focus Energy (Normal).

Best Counters and Strategies

To defeat Hisuian Samurott, you’ll need to utilize its weaknesses and employ effective strategies. Here are some of the best counters and their respective strategies:

  • Appletun (Grass/Dragon)
    • Ability: Thick Fat
    • Moveset: Sunny Day, Growth, Apple Acid
    • Strategy: Appletun’s Sunny Day reduces Razor Shell damage and its Grass/Dragon typing resists Water attacks. Growth boosts its Attack and Special Attack, while Apple Acid lowers Hisuian Samurott’s Special Defense.
  • Bellibolt (Electric)
    • Ability: Electromorphosis
    • Moveset: Parabolic Charge, Metronome
    • Strategy: Bellibolt’s Electromorphosis ability boosts its Electric-type moves when hit by an attack. Parabolic Charge deals damage and recovers HP, while Metronome further increases its power.
  • Iron Hands (Electric/Fighting)
    • Ability: Magnet Pull
    • Moveset: Wild Charge, Drain Punch
    • Strategy: Iron Hands’ high Attack stat and Wild Charge make it a heavy hitter. Drain Punch provides recovery, while Magnet Pull traps Steel-type Pokémon.
  • Miraidon (Electric/Dragon)
    • Ability: Hadron Engine
    • Moveset: Taunt, Metal Sound, Electro Drift
    • Strategy: Miraidon’s Electric Terrain ability boosts its Special Attack and Electric-type moves, making it a powerful counter. Taunt prevents Hisuian Samurott from setting up, and Metal Sound weakens its Special Defense.
  • Rotom Wash (Electric/Water)
    • Ability: Levitate
    • Moveset: Will-O-Wisp, Charge Beam
    • Strategy: Rotom Wash’s Levitate ability makes it immune to Ground attacks, and Will-O-Wisp halves Hisuian Samurott’s Physical Attack damage. Charge Beam deals super-effective damage.

Remember, practice makes perfect! Experiment with different counters, strategies, and team compositions to find what works best for you and your group. With careful planning and teamwork, you can conquer the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Hisuian Samurott 7-Star Tera Raid and claim victory!
