Lakers get good news about Anthony Davis and LeBron James’ injury ahead of Rockets game

Anthony Davis just had a huge game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night. AD was a dominant force, scoring 38 points and grabbing 17 rebounds.

On Sunday, the Lakers will play the Houston Rockets, who have endured yet another disappointing season. Fans are anxious to know if Davis will play against the Rockets after seeing his name on the injury list again.

Updates on injury status of Anthony Davis and LeBron James against the Rockets

With a stress injury to his right foot, Davis is labeled as probable to play by the Lakers. The Lakers have made it a habit as of late to enter games with AD listed as questionable despite his continued presence on the injury report.

But, despite his injuries, the 30-year-old hasn’t missed a game since March 15th.

Seven straight games with Davis listed as probable have resulted in appearances. In averaging 36.7 minutes per game over this stretch, he has posted 28.0 points, 11.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.4 blocks, and 1.1 steals.

  • LeBron James – Questionable

LeBron James, the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, is also classified as questionable to play, but like AD, he should be good to go against the Rockets.

James’ status for the rest of the season is in doubt.

After returning from a month-long absence, he would play for the fourth time in less than a month on Sunday, but with favorable matchups against Houston and Utah, he might receive a day off.

The Lakers’ first item of business is exacting revenge for their 114-110 loss to the Houston Rockets on March 15.

With both AD and LeBron James scheduled to play, this should be a rout for the Lakers. Yet, as we all know, there are no guarantees in today’s NBA.
