UPDATE 2: According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Pitts (hamstring) is officially listed as “questionable” for Atlanta’s Week 6 home game against San Francisco.

UPDATE: According to ESPN’s Michael Rothstein, Pitts (hamstring) is practicing for the second day in a row.

According to NFL Network’s James Palmer, Pitts (hamstring) returned to practice on Wednesday.

The second-year tight end was limited in practice on Wednesday but expects to be ready for the 49ers game on Sunday. Pitts is expected to rebound from a slow start to the season with 10 receptions (22 targets) for 150 yards.

Pitts remains one of the league’s top tight ends and should be considered a low-end TE1 this week.

2.Pat Freiermuth

UPDATE: According to fellow Steeler Najee Harris, Freiermuth (concussion) is out for Week 6.

According to ESPN’s Brooke Pryor, Freiermuth (concussion) was one of nine Steelers players who did not practice on Wednesday.

In last week’s road loss to the Bills, the second-year tight end suffered a concussion. Freiermuth has now suffered three concussions in his brief career. The Steelers will keep an eye on his progress as he attempts to clear the league’s concussion protocols. If Freiermuth is unable to play, fantasy owners will have to scour the waiver wire for tight ends with favorable matchups, such as Evan Engram (vs. Indianapolis), Irv Smith Jr. (vs. Dolphins) or Will Dissly and Noah Fant (vs. Panthers) (vs. Cardinals).

3.Dawson Knox

UPDATE 2: Knox (foot, hamstring) is not listed on Buffalo’s injury report for Week 6.

UPDATE: According to Bills beat reporter Sal Capaccio, Knox (foot, hamstring) was seen at practice on Thursday.

Knox (foot, hamstring) was limited in practice on Wednesday ahead of Sunday’s game against the Chiefs.

The Bills are hoping to get the 25-year-old tight end back into the lineup after he was sidelined with multiple injuries last week. Without Knox, the Bills relied on rookie Quintin Morris, who caught three passes for 39 yards on five targets. If Knox plays this weekend, he’s a low-tier TE1 option against the Chiefs, who allow 10.75 points per game to tight ends this season (11th most in the league).
