Does Genshin Impact Support Cross-Platforms?
The answer is a resounding yes! Genshin Impact fully supports cross-platform play, allowing you to team up and adventure with friends regardless of whether they’re on PC, mobile (Android or iOS), or PlayStation (PS4 or PS5).
How to Link Your Genshin Impact Accounts
To unlock the full potential of cross-platform play, linking your accounts across platforms is recommended. Here’s how to do it for both mobile and PlayStation users:
Mobile to PS4/PS5 (Fresh Install Only)
- Install Genshin Impact on your PS4 or PS5.
- Upon launch, you’ll see a “Welcome to Genshin Impact” notice followed by two agreements. Agree to them.
- At the “Prepare to Begin Your Adventure” prompt, choose “Link miHoYo account (Email).”
- A browser window will appear. Enter your registered email and the verification code sent to your inbox.
- Confirm, and your accounts will be linked.
Important Note:
If you previously logged into Genshin Impact on PS4/PS5 before cross-save was introduced using the same email you plan to link, this method won’t work. However, you can still enjoy cross-platform play by creating a new account on your console and linking it to a different email address.
Mobile to PC
- Launch Genshin Impact on your mobile device.
- Tap the Paimon icon (top left) to access the menu.
- Click the cog icon (left of the screen).
- Select “Account” followed by “User Center.”
- Choose the email option and request a verification code sent to your registered email address.
- Retrieve the code from your email and enter it back in the game.
Once complete, log in to Genshin Impact on PC with your verified email address, and you’ll be able to resume your progress seamlessly.
