How to Get Glass in LEGO Fortnite
Glass in LEGO Fortnite is crafted using two resources: sand and Brightcore. Once you have these materials, head over to the Metal Smelter to combine them and create that precious glass.
Getting Sand
Finding sand is the easy part! Head to either the Dry Valley (desert) biome or any beach near a large body of water. Equip your trusty shovel and start digging. Remember, the more sand you gather, the more glass you can potentially craft.
Building the Metal Smelter
Now, here’s where things get interesting. To turn your sand into precious glass, you’ll need a Metal Smelter. Unfortunately, this workshop unlocks at a later stage, requiring a level nine village (out of ten).
If you haven’t reached that level yet, fear not, keep progressing through the game! For those who have reached village level nine, here’s the recipe for building a Metal Smelter:
- 3 Blast Cores
- 15 Brightcores
- 35 Obsidian Slabs
Blast Cores are a little trickier to find. Venture back to the Dry Valley biome and explore the caves. Look for lava caves – these often house chests containing Blast Cores. Additionally, Blast Roller enemies roam these caves, so defeat them for a chance to collect more materials.
Luckily, Bright Cores and Obsidian can also be found in these caves, allowing you to farm all three ingredients simultaneously.
Crafting Glass
Once you have your Metal Smelter, crafting glass becomes a breeze. Here’s what you’ll need to make a single piece:
- 1 Brightcore
- 2 Sand
Glass is incredibly versatile and used in various in-game items, most notably the new vehicles! It’s a crucial component for Power Cells, the fuel source for your motorized cars.
