Sports Illustrated model Hannah Davis has spoken on her favourite swimwear styles. The cover star is also the new face of swimwear label Op’s Spring/Summer 2015 campaign and reveals that although she often wears bikinis for photo shoots, she actually loves one pieces. She described the perfect fitting design:

“I like the one-piece, funny enough. I like it cut a little higher on the leg, with cutouts on the sides. I feel like I can move around more in one-pieces than in two-pieces. The one style I would probably never wear is the high-waisted bikini. It looks good in photos but I find that I would get a weird tan line.”

Hannah says that the reaction to her Sports Illustrated cover has been unbelievable and she often receives free swimwear because of the shot. She comments that she is quickly running out of space to store them all and even converted a bedroom into a wardrobe to give her a bigger area to put them:

”I think I got about 100 swimsuits after landing the Sports Illustrated cover. I have no more space in my house! I can’t complain because it’s a good problem to have! Lately I’ve been putting them in big bags because I don’t have space in my closet anymore and I’ve converted my second bedroom into a closet just because I’ve been getting so much stuff.”

Hannah adds that while people often think she will have funny tan lines because of all the bikini shoots she does, the model explains that she changes bikinis so frequently during shoots that tan lines don’t have time to form so she actually gets an even coverage:

”People think you would get crazy tan lines because you’re always wearing these crazy looking bikinis, but you don’t because you’re only in them for about 10 minutes and then you switch into the next one. You actually end up with the perfect tan because you are wearing all types of bikinis and none of them are there long enough to make a line.”
