Overgrown Valley – 6 Water Balls

Locate a Hydro Eidolon near a rock and stand close to it to trigger its movement towards a sealed Water Ball chest.
Explore the caves with green rails to discover a Hydro Ball in the underground path. Defeat the pyro slimes surrounding a Hydro Eidolon to free it.
Swim and follow the water bubbles to encounter a guiding Hydro Eidolon that leads you to the Water Ball.
Solve a puzzle by activating Four-Leaf Sigils using Dendrograna. Follow the transforming Hydro Eidolon hiding on big leaves, starting as a Barrel, then a Hydro stone, and finally a stone.
Defeat a large pyro slime and interact with the nearby big blue box to have a Hydro Eidolon guide you to a sealed chest.
Play hide and seek with three Hydro Eidolons by using Elemental Sight. Look for a big pink box, a brown slime balloon, and a small box to unlock the chest.

Overgrown Valley East Cavern – 6 Water Balls

Follow the Water Ball to a chest, then power the Choo-Choo Cart. Ride the cart to unlock a Streaming Projector.
Track the Water Ball and defeat Hilichurls troubling it. Follow the Water Ball as it leads you. Defeat more enemies, including 2 Pyro slimes. Ride the Cart to unlock another Streaming Projector.
Put out the fire around the Water Ball to guide your way out.
Follow the Water Ball to #11 and activate hydro totems with its help. Fight enemies and then solve another elemental monument puzzle at #12.

Silver Bottle Courtyard – 20 Water Balls

Defeat the Shrooms surrounding the Water Ball to rescue it. The Hydro Ball will spawn a chest as a reward.
Find the chest amidst a group of flowers. Interact only with the Sumeru Rose to summon the Hydro Ball. Avoid the other 3 Sweet Flowers as they will summon Whopperflowers.
Locate the Hydro Ball hidden in a Dendro Pile. Use either Dendro attacks or the assistance of the Dendrogranum to free it. The Hydro Ball will unlock the chest.
Interact with the barrel on the lilypad to transform it back into a Hydro Ball. Four Hydro Monuments surround the Hydro Ball. Follow the Hydro Ball’s guidance to activate each Hydro totem in the correct order and receive a chest.
Begin a Hide and Seek game by interacting with the sign. Three Hydro Balls will take different forms: one as a Barrel on a box, another as a Cryo flower on a door, and the last as blue crystals by the roof’s edge. Use Elemental Sight or keen observation to locate all 3 Hydro Balls.
Discover a group of Hydro Balls near a table with a plate on top. The nearby sign suggests placing an apple on the plate. Repeat this action three times to obtain a chest. You can reset the plate by teleporting away or logging out and logging back in.
Approach the waterfall and interact with the barrel nearby. It will transform into a Hydro Ball and guide you to the chest.
Engage in another Hide and Seek game by interacting with the sign. The three Hydro Balls will assume different disguises: one on the roof of a tent as a box, another on a wooden ledge as a barrel, and the last as a box on top of another box. Use Elemental Sight or careful observation to find all 3 Hydro Balls.
Both #21 and #22 lead to the same chest. Interact with #21, a barrel emitting bubbles next to the bushes, to transform it into a bush.
For #22, locate the misplaced bush among the others and interact with it to guide it back to its original place.
Climb to the top of the floating island and interact with the Dendro pile using the Dendrogranum. The Water Ball will emerge and unlock the hydro monuments. Activate all 4 Hydro totems to receive a chest.
Find a Water Ball resting on the water’s surface. Interact with it to guide it toward the chest.
Interact with the Cryo flower surrounded by exploding Dendro flowers. The Hydro Ball will appear and lead you to a sealed chest.
Spot the Water Ball surrounded by 5 Hydro Monuments. Interact with the Water Ball, and it will transform into an arrow sign indicating the order of the hydro totems. Follow the guide to activate the totems and obtain a chest.
Begin by interacting with the box on the tree. It will unlock the hydro totem next to it. Then interact with the blue crystal chunk, followed by the blue candy cane (which will lead you to interact with the box on top of the tree). Activate all unlocked hydro monuments to acquire the chest.
Approach the Water Ball, which will transform into an arrow sign pointing toward the location of the chest.
Defeat the shrooms surrounding the Dendro pile. Use Dendro attacks on the Dendro Pile and interact with the lamp beneath it. It will transform back into a Water Ball, and you will obtain a chest.
Eliminate the 2 hilichurls surrounding the box. Afterward, the 2 Hydro Eidolons will guide you toward the chest.
Save the Water Ball from the 3 Pyro slimes by defeating them.

Pavilion of Hermits – 12 Water Balls

Engage in a game of Hide and Seek. Start by interacting with the sign. The 3 Hydro Balls will transform into different shapes: one as a box beside the waterfall, another as a candy cane, and the last as a doll. Use Elemental Sight or careful observation to locate all 3 Hydro Balls.
Interact with the Hydro Ball to initiate the puzzle. Four Hydro Monuments surround the Hydro Ball. Follow the Hydro Ball’s guidance to activate each Hydro totem in the correct order. By following the Hydro Ball’s instructions, you will be rewarded with a chest.
Defeat the Lawachurl guarding the Water Ball, which is trapped inside a cage. Rescue the Water Ball and claim the chest.
Face a challenge with three Hydro Eidolons guarding the chest. They will shuffle themselves, and you must identify the one with the pink flower emote. Repeat this process three times to complete the game. Remember, the one with the pink flower will always position itself in the middle.
Approach and interact with the Hydro Eidolon situated on the top of the wooden floor. Dive into the nearby small body of water to proceed.
Guide a Hydro Eidolon to the other side of the tree to reunite with another Hydro Eidolon.
Continuously interact with the Hydro Eidolon performing tricks with two other Hydro Eidolons. Upon completion, you will receive a chest.
Witness the Hydro Eidolon transforming into five different shapes. Memorize the order of the changes: Blue Box, Animal, Green Box, Doll, and finally the Candy Cane. Then select the order correctly to unlock the chest.
Participate in a game of Hide and Seek. Activate the sign to initiate the game. The 3 Hydro Balls will take different forms: one as a bush beside a tree, another as a candy cane beside a stack of boxes, and the last as a barrel behind the tent. Utilize Elemental Sight or keen observation to locate all 3 Hydro Balls.
Interact with the three stacked boxes, causing the three Hydro Eidolons to transform back. As a result, you will receive a chest.
Follow the Hydro Eidolon as it leads you to the chest.
At the highest point, play Hide and Seek by interacting with the sign. Find the Hydro Balls hiding as a barrel, candy cane, and a box with arrows. Use Elemental Sight to locate them.

Thinker’s Theater – 16 Water Balls

Defeat the shrooms surrounding the Hydro Eidolon disguised as a box and rescue the Hydro Ball.
Initiate a game of Hide and Seek by interacting with the sign. The 3 Hydro Balls will transform into different shapes: one hiding in a box with other boxes, another as a rock on top of a box, and the last as a barrel on a ledge. Use Elemental Sight to locate all 3 Hydro Balls.
Inside the building, follow the Hydro Eidolon to reach the chest.
Engage in a Hide and Seek game by interacting with the sign. The 3 Hydro Balls will take various forms: one hiding as a box surrounded by Hilichurls, another as a box beside the waterfall, and the last as a barrel on top of land. Utilize Elemental Sight to locate all 3 Hydro Balls.
Trigger the puzzle by interacting with the sign. Enter Camera Mode and wait for the two Hydro Eidolons to come close to each other in the middle of the boat. Take a picture at that moment.
Find a Hydro Ball disguised as a Cryo Flower surrounded by exploding Dendro flowers. Interact with the Cryo Flower, and it will transform into a Hydro Ball, granting access to the chest.
Destroy the rockpile on top of a box to release the Hydro Ball, which will lead you to the chest.
Inside the building, interact with the pot, which will transform into a mushroom and guide you to the chest.
Located at the top, interact with the box that will transform into the Eidolon. Follow a memory game where you need to choose the correct Eidolon at the end to receive the chest.
Interact with the Hydro Eidolon, which will transform into a box. The Water Ball next to it will mimic the box’s movements. Observe the order carefully. Before the third Water Eidolon ruins the mimic, interact with it to fix the order and obtain the chest.
Trigger the puzzle by interacting with the sign. Use Dendro attacks on the Dendro pile to reveal the first Water Eidolon. Defeat Hilichurls to rescue the second Water Eidolon. Finally, take a picture of both Water Balls together to complete the puzzle and receive the chest.
Retrieve 3 Hydro Eidolons to unlock the chest. One is surrounded by torches that need to be extinguished, another is hiding as a potted Sweet Flower that requires interaction, and the last Hydro Ball is trapped inside floating balloons that must be shot down with a Bow character.
Read the sign, then defeat the two hilichurls that spawn near the book. Return the book to the Hydro Ball and capture the scene with a picture to obtain the chest.
Pop the three bloaty floaties scattered around the area. Once all of them are popped, the Hydro Eidolons hidden inside will appear and lead you to the chest.
Part of the World Quest “Daiya’s Three Day Reverie – Petrifying Gaze.” Push the box beside the owl lamp, causing the rock in the center to transform into a Hydro Ball. Follow the Hydro Ball to reach the chest.
Part of the World Quest “Daiya’s Three Day Reverie – Petrifying Gaze.” Follow the Hydro Ball from #59 onward. Solve a puzzle by breaking the rock pile, extinguishing the fire, and interacting with the potted Sweet Flower. Finally, destroy the floaty bloaties using a Bow character. This will grant access to another chest.
