Genshin Impact 3.1 release date, maintenance time
The release date and start time countdown to when Genshin Impact update 3.1 comes out is 20:00 PT and 23:00 ET on September 27th, as well as 04:00 BST on September 28th.
The Genshin Impact 3.1 release date is scheduled for September 28, 2022. As with 3.0, this next patch cycle will last for five weeks.

On August 22, Hoyoverse formally announced upcoming Genshin Impact characters Cyno , Candace and Nilou, and as three new faces that may become playable, or they could be heavily involved in the story.
Genshin Impact 3.1 leak reveals Sumeru desert map
A Genshin leaker named Plusle uploaded an image to Twitter revealing the entire desert region, complete with Teleport Waypoints and Statues of the Seven. The screenshot also provides area names, however they are not in English yet.

Known leaker UBatcha also uploaded an image of the map, though their version is in English without the landmarks and statues. It seems that the three main areas of the desert are Wind Erosion, Downwind Erosion and Sandplain Colonnade.
Besides taking a look at the new character Dori, who should come before the 3.0 patch cycle (albeit she doesn’t have a release date yet), at the end of the trailer we’re treated to a glimpse of a fallen civilization.
New Area Likely Coming in 3.1 With New Trailer
This is a new area inspired by ancient Egypt that will possibly arrive in version 3.1. This is due to the fact that the characters coming in 3.1 are also inspired by ancient Egypt in their costumes.
